We are headed to WDW very soon. We will be traveling with a 3 year old and an infant. We know baby swap is an option we will be using, but can you explain how it works? do we have to stand in a line again or just wait for the next turn? Thank you.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Colleen, it’s great to see you here again!

You must be very excited about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort with your children. Get ready to marvel at their first-time expressions as they experience Disney magic; you’ll be talking about this for yEars to come!

Disney’s Rider Switch feature is perfect for our little Guests who are unable to ride and all you have to do is speak with a Cast Member at a designated Rider Switch attraction, who will ask which adult would like to wait at a nearby designated area, while “Party 1” heads over to the attraction. When “Party 1” is finished, they locate the waiting “Party 2”, hand them the Rider Switch pass and then they supervise the group who cannot ride. “Party 2” enters and boards the attraction without having to wait in the regular queue and that’s it. If you have a FastPass+ selection for a designated Rider Switch attraction, simply let the Cast Member know and the same procedure will be followed.

May I offer Disney’s Planning for Kids resource in preparation for your visit? It contains suggestions for suitable attractions and experiences, sample Theme Park Itineraries and advice to help you create Best Day Ever memories!

We hope this information is helpful, Colleen and wish you may happy Disney memories!
