Headed to WDW for the first time in 9/2011 with our 3 y.o.daughter. We are completely overwhelmed and have tons of questions. Will be there 4 nights (pop century); 2 days at the MK; no other parks. Do you have any suggestions for an itinerary? thanks!

    Hi Travis,

Planning a first Disney vacation can feel overwhelming, but we're here to help you with any questions that you may have.

First off, have you made any Advanced Dining Reservations yet? You'll want to take your little girl to a few character meals, as these allow her time to get up close with many of her favorites without having to wait in line. I recommend Chef Mickey's to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto. If you'd like to take her to see Princesses, try Cinderella's Royal Table. This is hard to book, so if you can't get in, you can also try to book the Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. You also may want to start one of your Magic Kingdom days by dining with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet at the Crystal Palace. We love it there. Call 407-WDW-DINE to book.

If you are wanting to spend 2 full days at the Magic Kingdom, you'll want to hit Fantasyland twice with a 3 year old. Located right behind Cinderella Castle, Fantasyland tends to get the most crowded in the afternoon, so head there first thing. Looking at a park map, I recommend "cutting the park in half". You can go to Fantasyland, Frontierland and Adventureland one day. Then Fantasyland again to re-visit her favorites, Tomorrowland and Main St., USA. You could visit Liberty Square and ride the Riverboat on whichever day you have time.

Hope this helps and let me know what other quesitons you have,
