We are headed to SWW the last weekend in June. Staying at POR. What time is the FIRST bus going to DHS? We want to get there as early as possible and are a little nervous using the buses, but don't want to incur the cost of a taxi. Thx!

    Hi Stacey,

Having just come home from Star Wars Weekends, (and it was so awesome!) we were told the buses would start just after 6:00 a.m. You'll want to check with Disney's Port Orleans upon check-in to confirm, as each resort might operate a bit differently. There are typically headliner autographs to obtain, where guests will arrive even earlier than 6:00 a.m. If you're arriving on the final weekend, June 15th, you can anticipate (although schedules are always subject to change) the following celebrity guests: Dee Bradley Baker, Cat Taber, Tom Kane, Matt Lanter and Steve Blum. We also saw James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein this past weekend, who are scheduled to be at each Star Wars Weekend through June 15th.

There is a very cool "Legends of the Force" Star Wars Motorcade parade which occurs at 11:30 a.m. My 7 and 9-year-old padawans LOVED this parade. Try to stake out a shaded spot at around 10:00 a.m. if you think this is a must-do for your travel party.

I'm limited in space, Stacey, but let me know what other questions you have about the event.

Best wishes for a magical vacation!
