We are headed to Port Orleans Riverside Feb 24-March 1 and are excited to try a new resort! We are a little nervous about the transportation though as we have little ones and have stayed on the monorail in the past. Any tips or advice on a bldg to request?

    Hi Marcy!

Thanks for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I recommend not requesting a specific building or room number.  That is because if that building is not available during your visit, the Disney Cast Member working with your room assignment doesn't really understand why you requested that building.  Instead I recommend putting in a request that says that you would like to be located closest to a bus stop.  I also think it helps to prioritize your requests.  For example, you could put in a request like the following:
    • Alligator Bayou section
    • Building closest to a bus stop
    • Building close to the food court
    • 1st floor room
    • Etc

That explains to the Disney Cast Member exactly what is important to you. I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
