We're headed on our first ever Disney Cruise next week out of San Diego and are so excited! We'd really love to have the characters sign a photo mat, but I heard this service is no longer offered. Can you please clarify?

    Final countdown, Raymie!

You and your whole family will be off to sail on your magical voyage very soon. Captain Mickey and his crew are surely looking forward to meeting you. How exciting!

There will be lots of opportunities onboard to meet and greet the various Disney Characters who are sailing with you. You are more than welcome to bring your photo mat with you during these meet & greets, and the characters will gladly sign or autograph them for you. Don't forget the ticketed meet & greet for the Disney Princesses. I would suggest stopping by the Guest Services desk on embarkation day to inquire about the schedules and you can secure your ticket then. There is usually a separate meet & greet with Queen Elsa and Princess Anna too! These meet & greet sessions are great -- you'll be chatting, taking photos and having souvenirs signed by the characters in no time.

Make sure you check the Disney Cruise Line Personal Navigator every evening. It will be delivered to your stateroom by your stateroom host/hostess. The next days' character appearance schedule and venues will be listed here, so you can use a highlighter and choose who you'd like to meet. They can all sign your photo mat! If you have a smart phone, you can also download the Navigator App now. Just relaunch on embarkation day to get all the data uploaded to your phone.

Have fun meeting all the characters onboard, Raymie! Keep your camera handy for those awesome magical moments.

    Bon voyage!
