Hi! We are headed to Disneyland in 13 days for my sons 1st Birthday! I just bought a stroller fan "Sky Genius" and it uses a rechargeable battery. Are clip-on Stroller Fans allowed in the parks?

    Hi Candice!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Keeping your little one comfortable throughout the day is crucial and this is a great idea to keep him cool in the summer heat!

I'm delighted to let you know that your fan will absolutely be allowed in the park and is not part of the prohibited items list in the Disneyland Resort Park Rules. When my son was a tiny mouseketeer, we actually had a fan that looked like Mickey Mouse that we bought inside the parks! Another great way to cool off is to pop into the Baby Care Centers for a moment to just relax. It was a great spot to put my son down for a nap as they have quiet rooms with rocking chairs. There is one in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park with baby catered vending machines with things like sunscreen, formula and even Baby Tylenol.

As you will be celebrating his first birthday I want to make sure to tell you to stop by and get his complimentary birthday button! You can pick these up at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or at Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park. Please come back and let us know if you have any other questions!
