Hello! We are headed to Disney for the 2nd time in October. This time we are coming with friends! The total number will be 14 people including 8 kids ages 1 - 7 years old. Looking for a budget friendly charecter dining for breakfast, any recommendations?!

    Hello Rasheeda!
The more the merrier during a magical Disney vacation! A character breakfast is a great way to start the day. They allow you to enjoy each others company in a fun atmosphere while meeting some of your favorite mice... or chipmunks... or ducks... or princesses! I think the primary question is- which characters would you like to meet during your breakfast?  Here are a few of my favorites:
    • Mickey and the gang- the obvious choice is Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. However, my family prefers Donald's Dining Safari at The Tusker House located in Disney's Animal Kingdom.
    • Winnie the Pooh and friends- The Crystal Palace located near the heart of the Magic Kingdom is a lovely locale to hang out with Winnie, Eeyore, Tigger and others.
    • The Princesses- While dining in Cinderella Castle is a treat, when on a budget we prefer Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.
    • Disney Junior friends- with the age of the children you are bringing, I think that the Disney Junior Play 'n Dine would be a big hit. Along with great food you get to dance and play with friends from Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Handy Manny. My grandson had a great time a this breakfast last year.

I hope these suggestions help you with your very difficult (but fun!) decisions.

    See ya real soon,
    Anne

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. While I can’t pick my funniest Disney memory – either my 70-year-old mother on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or my 4-year-old grandson on Dinosaur – I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures.
