having trouble planning for my family how do I plan for my family I have child with asd is there special things for him

Hello, Lillian! You have certainly come to the right place for help planning your trip to the Disneyland Resort!

One of the first steps in the planning process is deciding where to stay. There are three Disneyland Resort Hotels to choose from and oodles of Good Neighbor Hotels in close proximity to the parks as well. I would start by exploring the vacation packages available. These will help you book your hotel accommodations and theme park tickets together. You can even add character dining experiences to your package and pay in advance.

Another great resource is disneyplanning.com. After providing some basic information about yourself, you will have access to all sorts of videos designed to help you plan your vacation. You can discover all the great offerings at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney District, explore the Disneyland Resort Hotels, and even find info on dining, vacation packages, and insider tips!

Finally, another important area to research is the services available for those with cognitive disabilities. There is lots of information to help you prepare your son for your trip and it describes all the ways that the Disneyland Resort accommodates those with differing abilities.

Then, of course, return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions that arise. We simply love helping Guests plan magical vacations to the Happiest Place on Earth!
