I am having difficulty finding whether we may leave the Disney property grounds, return to our hotel off property, and return to the park without having to pay twice for parking on that day. I would appreciate your help in clarifying. Thank you!

Hi Brian and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for bringing us your question about parking at Walt Disney World Resort theme parks!

If you’re staying off-site during your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, you only need to pay your parking fee one time. Just keep your receipt handy and show it to the Parking Cast Member at the entrance of the theme park. That’s it and you’re good to go! Whether you are visiting the same park or hopping to a different one, the one-time fee will cover your vehicle for the entire day.

It works the same way for your theme park ticket. You may exit and enter the same park using one theme park ticket. If you’ve purchased a theme park ticket with the park hopper option, you may visit any one or all four parks on the same day!

Brian, whether you are staying on or off-property, you can still make dining reservations for any Walt Disney World Resort restaurants 180 days before your visit. Also, don’t forget to make your FastPass+ selections 30 days before your visit! Those selections will save your place in line for your favorite attractions!

I hope this information is helpful to you! Feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. Helping you with all the details of your magical vacation is one of our favorite things to do!
