I haven't been to WDW in 2 years. Last time I went my lunch reservation at Be Our Guest had a 30 minute window to check-in. I just made a 10:10 reservation for next month. Is there still a 30 minute window to check-in or do I have to arrive on time?

Hi, Jessica! We are so glad to hEAR you are heading back for an Incredible Summer at Walt Disney World Resort! There have been lots of changes since your last visit, so I want to share tip with you after I give you a quick answer to your question. So now we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair, as we discuss your lunch!

Once upon a time, Be Our Guest Restaurant did manage its Advance Dining Reservations in a different way than other Walt Disney World Resort dining locations. Guests were able to select a range of arrival times, usually a 30-minute window. However, this has changed and now a single time of arrival is selected. They do ask that you arrive a bit early, but try not to be too late. Cast Members have always been very helpful in situations where we have had to be late to a meal. While you may have wait a bit longer for your taste of the grey stuff, they can certainly try their best to accommodate you. Just make sure that you do arrive, because there is a $10 per person cancellation fee if you do not arrive for your meal in the Beast's Castle. Now, you wouldn't want to anger the Master, would you?

OK, Jessica, a quick tip! I am sure you will want to check out some amazing new adventures this summer, such as Pandora - The World of Avatar and Toy Story Land. You will definitely want to make FastPass+ selections for their attractions. Try to put your visits to those parks towards the end of your trip. In my experience, there has been limited to no FastPass+ availability in the first few days of our stays, since guests checking in before us have already had a crack at those days. You should find good selections by day four of your stay!

I hope you have a magical day and please let us know if you have any other questions!
