We haven't been to Disneyland Resort since they implemented the Fast Pass for Fantasmic. After I get my pass, how early do I have to be there to get our spot? I'm pregnant and will have two toddlers with me. I don't think they'll wait an hour.

    Hi there Carolyn,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you are having a Jolly day.

I’m so excited to try out the new Fantasmic! FASTPASS for the show too! We love this show - it’s always spectacular. Now I know the reserved viewing area opens an hour before Fantasmic! begins, so typically we recommend getting there as early as possible to get the best viewing spot. But, I am a Mama of littles too and I do remember being pregnant with a little one running around so I hEAR the possible struggle with that one.

I think you have two options; you could just wait as long as possible to enter the viewing area. However, this is standing room so you risk the chance of your littles not having the best view. Or you could stash a small coloring book and 4 crayons (or other small/ packable ‘distraction’ items) in your diaper bag and pull out this lifesaver during the wait time. This would also be a good time for you all to enjoy a snack and drink. Especially you, Carolyn, to rehydrate.

There is also the Fantasmic! Dinner Packages you could select, with this, you would have a separate Fantasmic! FASTPASS reserved viewing area. This area may be less crowded, so you may find you have better luck entering at a later time. You may want to call and talk about the different options for your family, here’s the info (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463.

I hope this helps you. Please feel free to visit me again with any other planning questions you may have!

    Enjoy the show!
