I haven't been to Disney world since I was a child, and this will be my husband and our 4 year old daughters first time there. We are wanting to do a lot of the character experience's. Do we have to sign up for these? We are going in June.

    Hi Melissa ~

A great way to meet several characters in one location is booking a character meal. This way you get to enjoy a great meal while waiting for the characters to come to you.

At some character meet and greet locations, you wait in one line and meet more than one character. Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom (MK) is an example. There is a queue to meet Cinderella and one of her Princess friends and another for Rapunzel and one of her Princess friends.

Some meet and greet locations offer FastPass+ (FP+) as an option which will cut down on your wait time. Princess Fairytale Hall and meeting Mickey in Town Square Theater are just two locations that offer FP+. You can select your FP+ options through your My Disney Experience account. At other character locations (like those you will see in the middle of Town Square at MK), you will just stand in line to meet them.

There are other special experiences like the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage or Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long that include character meet and greet opportunities. If you are looking for any specific characters, let me know and I'll be happy to help you find them.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
