I haven't been to disney in a few yrs and I'm Alittle confused on things I've read. The new wrist bands...those r your tickets, room key ect? Also I see people say they are linking things to these bands - What do I have to link? What is a FP+?

    Hi Sherri,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! MagicBands are Disney's latest all-in-one device, similar to your Disney Resort Hotel Key to the World card. Guests are able to link park tickets and can even link a credit card to their MagicBand. Personally, I love the convenience MagicBands provide. During my most recent visit in December I was able to use my MagicBand to unlock my room at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, as my ticket to all four theme parks, to check in at FastPass+ entrances, and to easily charge refreshments and souvenirs to my credit card on file. The technology in MagicBands truly is magical. You can read more about MagicBands here, or watch a video overview of MagicBands here.

The new FastPass+ service is currently in a testing period. Disney FastPass+ service takes FASTPASS to an all-new level. For the first time ever, FastPass+ service includes select Character Greetings, shows, parades, and fireworks! Guests can make FastPass+ selections for attractions and entertainment up to 60 days in advance of their visit by using the My Disney Experience planning page or mobile app. You can read more about FastPass+ here, or watch a video overview of FastPass+ here.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions about your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day,
