I hate to miss out on rides and experiences, what age should I look at bringing my kids? They are 7 and 2 now. We went last year for the 7 y/o birthday but didn't bring the baby.

    Hi Stephanie,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your question is a good one, and one that I think many families ask. Since you have been at Walt Disney World in the past, you have an advantage in that you already know what a Walt Disney World vacation feels like for your family.

If I was in your position, I would visit Walt Disney World before the little one turns 3 years old. Children under 3 years old are Mickey Mouse's guest, and do not require theme park tickets, which is fantastic! There is so much for little ones to do at Walt Disney World! I have wonderfully fond memories of my daughter as a toddler running around Walt Disney World. She loved rides at Magic Kingdom such as it's a small world and Peter Pan's Flight, and always enjoyed a ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom to see exotic animals such as giraffes and zebras.

Since you will have two children, one of whom is very young and one who might want to experience some more thrilling attractions, you might want to look into Disney's Rider Switch Service. This service is designed to help adults and children in a party who are able to ride an attraction do so, while one adult can always wait with the little one.

A final thought if you decide to head to Walt Disney World soon is to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers. These centers are located in each of the theme parks and provide a place to feed, change, or simply take a break with your little one.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Stephanie! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
