Is it a hassle to get from say Epcot to Magic Kingdom for a dinner reservation?

    Hi Sheryl,

Personally I would not consider it a hassle at all to move from Epcot to the Magic Kingdom. it will take a little time and a little walking, and the use of two monorails but it is fairly simple.

Simply exit out the main entrance of Epcot and walk over to the monorail station just in front of the entrance gates. Head up the ramp and board the monorail (it is headed only one direction so jump on the first one that arrives). This monorail will take you to the Ticket and Transportation Center near the Magic Kingdom. The ride from Epcot to here is about 15 minutes. Once at the Ticket Transportation Center, you will exit that monorail and you will have three options. You can either choose to take a monorail to the Magic Kingdom, one is an express monorail which goes directly to the Magic Kingdom and the other is a resort monorail which will make stops at the Polynesian Resort and the Grand Floridian resort. The Express monorail is the fastest, however if you would like to stop and check out the other resorts choose the second option. Your third option is the ferry boat, which you can board right near the exit of the monorail ramp. The ferry boat is typically the slower option but something we enjoy for a change when we are not in a hurry.

If you have any questions, just ask a Cast Member who will be happy to direct you to the correct spot. Hope this helps and happy traveling!
