How hard is it to find seats for Frozen - Live at the Hyperion? I see that there's a dining and seating package; if you don't do that, do you have to line up prior to the theatre opening or can you find seats pretty much right up until show time?

A royal hello, Princess Kristen, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad to see you hEAR! As the mom of a Frozen-obsessed 6-year-old, I’d be happy to help you figure out the best way to see Frozen – Live at the Hyperion this summer. As they say in Arendelle, the snow must go on!

The Frozen Dining Package, which books 60 days out, is a great way to enjoy a delicious 3-course lunch at Carthay Circle Restaurant before heading to reserved seating at the Hyperion. With this package, you won’t have to worry about arriving quite as early for the show. However, if you’d prefer to skip this package, I’d recommend heading to the Hyperion about 45-60 minutes ahead of showtime to nab a good spot in line. Of course, this depends on the time of year, and how crowded the park is that day. For a summer visit like you’re planning, I think 45-60 minutes ahead of showtime should be just right. I know waiting in line with a little Mousketeer can be difficult, so I recommend grabbing some yummy snacks along the way! There’s a handy snack cart in front of the Hyperion where you can grab some popcorn or other yummy treats. My favorite on-the-go, mess-free snack for my kiddos is Goofy’s Candy Co. Character Gummies! You can find them throughout Disney California Adventure Park, Disneyland Park, and even the Disneyland Resort Hotels

Afterward, I recommend heading to Anna & Elsa’s Royal Welcome, located nearby inside the Disney Animation Building. There, your Frozen fan will be treated to a meet-and-greet to remember! This is one of my family’s favorite Character experiences, since Anna and Elsa take the time to enjoy a special conversation with your entire group before posing for pictures and autographs. All three of my children were beaming after our last visit with Anna and Elsa… they sure made us feel like royalty!

Don’t forget to catch even more Frozen fun over in Disneyland Park, too! Catch Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven in the brand-new “Magic Happens” Parade! Their Frozen 2-themed float is one of my favorites!

I hope this helps, Princess Kristen! Wishing you a royally good time this summer!
