Hi moms and Happy International Women’s Day! Returning to Disneyland this June 6th and am now worried about massive crowds heading for Star Wars Land. Any tips, tricks, advice to deal and cope? Should we forge ahead for that first weekend in June?

Galactic greetings, Tracey, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

As you know, the force is strong with the many fans of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, who can’t wait to step foot inside this awe-inspiring new land! It will be a history-making month at the Disneyland Resort, for sure! And I’m so excited that you will be a part of it! So far, here’s what we know: To visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park between May 31 and June 23, 2019, Guests will need valid theme-park admission, and will be required to make a no-cost reservation (subject to availability) to access the land. We don’t know the specifics yet for how the reservation process will work for non-hotel Guests, so my recommendation is to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog. If you’re worried about nabbing one of these coveted reservations, I’d suggest booking a stay at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels, since we do know that hotel Guests will receive a designated reservation to access Galaxy’s Edge during their stay, between May 31 and June 23.

Also, be sure to make dining reservations at least 60 days out from your vacation. Lastly, download the Disneyland app and utilize Disney MaxPass, which allows you to make FASTPASS selections from your mobile device -- this is a big time-saver!

I can’t wait for you to make your Disney dreams come true!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
