    What happens to my fast passes if a park closes for capacity during the holidays?

    Hi, Ellen! 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you so much for sending us your great question regarding Disney's FastPass+ program! FastPass+ is the ultimate vacationing planning tool for allowing you to reserve your place in line at some of Walt Disney World® Resort's top attractions. 

    But... things happen sometimes; plans can change, parks may close due to capacity, all kinds of things! That's where the My Disney Experience Mobile App for your smartphone comes in handy. With the app, you can modify or cancel any FastPass+ reservations on-the-go at any point in your vacation - should you arrive at a theme park temporarily closed for capacity, you can use the app to cancel your selections, or just allow the time to expire. Nothing happens to any unused FastPass+ selections, the time will just "expire" and you'll be able to make additional selections after that. However, if you choose to login to the app and modify or cancel, you will be able to make new selections immediately based on attraction availability at the time.
