Before the handicap reform at Disney, my son used his stroller as a wheelchair. What are the new changes to this rule?

    Hi Angela,

As parent of a special needs son who also utilizes his stroller as a wheelchair, I understand your concern. Disney Parks has made some changes to their program but they are still willing to work with Guests with disabilities.
You will need to visit the main entrance Guest Relations and speak to the Cast Member about your concerns and needs for your son. They can discuss with you if the Disability Access Service Card (DAS) - designed to accommodate Guests who aren't able to wait in a conventional queue environment due to disability (including non-apparent disabilities) - could benefit your son's needs.
I hope this helps and that your family has a magical time at the Disney Parks.
