Half of our May trip will be my DH & I for our anniversary and then joined by our kids & in-laws later in the week. We've booked the Deluxe dining plan for just us 2. Can we then share our credits with our kids when they arrive?

    Hi Brianna,

It sounds like you have a lovely anniversary trip planned! It will be the best of both worlds having time with your husband before your family joins you. My fellow panelist Brenda recently answered a question about the dining plan that has great information for you. "Recently the Disney Dining Plan became even more flexible than ever before and now Guests who have the Disney Dining Plan may use their meal or snack credits to pay for another Guest's food." So you should have no problem using credits for your kids. If you were trying to use a child's dining credit to pay for an adult's meal you might have a problem but your situation should be fine.

Just in case you have any credits left over at the end of your trip Brenda has a bit more information, "Additionally Quick-Service or Table-Service meal credits may be exchanged for 3 snack credits if done in the same transaction. Personally I love using my snack and leftover Quick-Service credits to purchase snacks to take home. Currently the Mickey Mouse Rice Krispy treats are 1 snack credit and I have been known to bring home a couple of dozen for my friends and my lunch box." I think most of the Moms Panelists travel home with a few extra Mickey Mouse Rice Krispy treats in their luggage!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if you have any other questions we can help you with!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
