You guys are so much help! I am having a hard time deciding between All-Star Movie resort and Pop Century resort. Which one would you choose and why? Transportation isn't a big deal as we will have our own car. Thank you so much.

I suspect you are having a hard time deciding because there really isn't any big difference between the two choices.  I have stayed at both, and found them both to be great options, especially if you are looking to save money and don't plan to spend a lot of time hanging around the resort (if you do, then I'd look into at least a Moderate resort -- where the pools and grounds are more interesting, and there are more dining options).

If you research on the internet, I think you'll find more fans of Pop Century, than All-Star Movie, and I think that is mostly due to a few features at Pop Century:
    - Slightly more adult themeing (adults relate more to the icons from past decades)
    - Food court is slightly larger, and has a bit more variety
    - The resort is on a lake
    - There is only one bus stop
    - It is newer
    - Less likely to find large groups of kids (e.g., bands, football teams, etc.) -- I'm not sure if this point is true, but I read it all the time on the internet

However, based on my own experience, I think the All-Star resort looks/feels just as well maintained as Pop Century, and I think younger kids will identify much more with the icons/themes at All-Star Movies than those at Pop Century.

So, with my kids being younger (4, 7 and 8), my first choice among the Value Resorts is All-Star Music.

My recommendation for you would be to simply decide based on the themeing/icons that you think you and your family will prefer.  And, again, I think either choice is a great one!

    Hope that helps. ºoº
