Hi guys, if my girlfriend and I only have 2 carry ons, very small average size can we carry our own bags into the resort or do we still have to have the Disney magical Express take care of that? Thank you!

    Hi Steven,

You are more than welcome to carry your own bags into your Disney resort.  If you have no checked luggage, there will be no bags for Disney's Magical Express to deliver.  They do not deliver carry-on bags.  You can take your small carry-on bags right into the passenger compartment of the Disney Magical Express buses with you.  Large carry-ons can go under the bus.  You just need to give them to the driver before you board your bus.

Even when I do check bags for my flights, I still handle my own luggage at Orlando International Airport.  I don't put the Disney Magical Express tags on them.  I simply gather them myself at the baggage carousel in Orlando before boarding the Magical Express bus.  Large bags ride under the bus and then I grab them when I reach my home resort.  This system works really well for me because I have immediate access to my bags and their contents upon arriving for my vacation.

Let us know if you have any additional questions about using the Disney Magical Express service.  It's a fabulous way to begin any Walt Disney World vacation!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
