Is there a guide to which restaurants you can eat at? Do all meals require reservations? Do the Disney resorts include any sort of meals, or have places to eat on site that are included with the dining plans?

    Hi Kelsey!

I haven't used a Disney Dining Plan in a few years, so I may or may not have booked a one-night stay at a Disney Resort Hotel complete with a one-night Disney Dining Plan. For #resEARch.

Your dining choices will be plentiful. (I like to say that Walt Disney World Resort is like an Eat Park, too.) On Walt Disney World Resort Dining website, check out the "Filter By" bar and click 'Dining Plans Accepted', located all the way on the right. Select whichever dining plan you chose, and everything that falls under your plan will be listed. What's really neat is the dining locations all around Disney still have a few months to decide if they want to take part in next years dining plans, so while all of these listed options are set in stone, your list will only get longer as more locations confirm their participation. So keep checking back!

Quick-Service dining locations, where your order is placed at a counter, do not require dining reservations. Table-Service meals get kind of tricky, because while they are sometimes able to accommodate guests who didn't make a reservation, so many guests do reserve their seats in advance that you almost have to pre-book these meals. This is especially true of all Character Dining Experiences. So definitely make reservations for any Table-service and Character meals that you had your heart set on.

Each Disney Resort Hotel will have at least one dining location on-site, and usually a bar by the pool. The Value resorts all have one large Quick-Service food-court type area, while the Moderates usually have a food court and one Table-Service option. The Deluxe resorts have one smaller Quick-Service location with multiple Table-Service options. And you're welcome to visit any of them!

I hope this helped, Kelsey, and We'll See You in 2019!
