Can guests with a valid handicap tag park for free if they’re staying at a Disney resort

Hi David! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Four days is all that stands between you and your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I am SO glad to hear that you have chosen to stay at a Disney Resort hotel. Not only are there many incredible benefits to staying on property, but it is wonderful knowing that you aren't leaving "the magic" at the end of the day.

When I recently spoke with a Cast Member about disability parking, I was informed that Guests with disabilities have a few options when it comes to parking at a Disney Resort hotel. First, valet parking is complimentary at resorts that offer valet service. You are also able to use self-parking at no charge at all Disney Resort hotels as long as you have a disability placard, which it sounds like you do. Without the disability placard, standard overnight parking fees will apply.

All Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels also get the benefit of complimentary parking at the theme parks. There is also complimentary transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort via bus, monorail, and water transportation. More reasons to love staying right in the middle of the fun!

Enjoy your visit, David! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
