Can a guest staying in an off-property hotel get FastPasses using the FastPass+ system? How does that work and do they need a MagicBand to do this? The family is leaving for WDW this weekend. Help!

    Hi Jill!

You do not need to be staying at a Walt Disney World resort or have a MagicBand to use FastPass+.  If your family has valid park tickets linked to their My Disney Experience account online, they can make their selections now for this weekend or they can do it at the parks at one of the designated FastPass+ kiosks.  Most likely, there will be more attractions to choose from if they do it in advance than the day of.

They have the option of purchasing MagicBands at any of the parks if they would like.  Otherwise, they will use their park ticket when entering the FastPass+ queues of the designated attractions.

    Have a magical day!
