    Stacey from AZ Asked

As a guest staying in a Disneyland Resort hotel, would I be allowed access to Extra Magic Hour on my arrival and/or departure day? For instance, departure day I check out, therefore no longer a guest, therefore no EMH?

    Greetings, Stacey!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so delighted you plan on staying at the iconic Disneyland Hotel. I just love this hotel's modern yet nostalgic vibe taking me back to Disneyland's earliest days. This hotel also offers some of my favorite dining options like Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar and Goofy's Kitchen.

I'm happy to inform you that as a Guest of the Disneyland Hotel (or any of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels) you will have access to all hotel amenities and benefits your entire day of check-in and check-out. This means that you most definitely can use your Extra Magic Hours early admission perk on both of these days. In fact, I have done this during every single one of my stays on property. On the day of arrival you can check in to the front desk before Extra Magic Hours. Your room may not be ready yet, but you will be given your hotel key which will grant you access to the select park offering Extra Magic Hours that morning. While you have this room key, you can also use the hotel pools, fitness center, bell desk, and self-parking prior to your room being ready. Once your room is ready you will be sent a text alert with your room number. Since your hotel key will be valid for the entire day even if you are "checked out" of your room, this means you can also use these hotel perks for the entire day of check-out as well.

I hope this helps, and I'd be happy to answer any other questions you have prior to your vacation. Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day!
