As a guest in one of the Disney World Resorts, do I have to pay to take advantage of the Early Morning Hours or Extended Evening Hours?

    Hi Maria,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have a special trip planned to the Walt Disney World Resort. How exciting!

As long as you are a Walt Disney World resort guest and you have theme park tickets, you do not have to pay an additional fee for Extra Magic Hours. There are other early morning and evening events that are special ticketed events so just be sure that you are arriving during Extra Magic Hours to take advantage of the complimentary benefit for resort guests. Also, check the Park Hours to see which parks have Extra Magic Hours during your visit.

My family likes to strategically use Extra Magic Hours to ride at least one popular ride. We often do this at Epcot, which has a tiered Fast Pass System. We always pick Test Track for one of our Fast Passes and then do the standby line for Soarin'. With Extra Magic Hours we get to the park early, run to Soarin' and get in line before the crowds get to the park.

Whatever you decide, I hope you have a magical time!
