We will have a guest who is older/disabled and who would benefit form using a scooter. Is there a way to transport the scooter from park to park or park to hotel?

    Hi AnnMarie ~

How wonderful for you to plan ahead for your Guest that will need assistance. ECV Rentals are available in all four theme parks and Downtown Disney. These are available on a first come first serve basis and reservations are not accepted. ECVs must remain in the parks in which they were rented. If you visit other parks on the same day, you can show your receipt at the next park to obtain another ECV depending on availability.

If the member of your family will need use of an ECV outside of the parks, you will need to rent an ECV from a local private company that offers ECV rentals. You can find a list of some companies at the bottom of the ECV rental link above.

The buses, monorails and some of the larger watercraft are able to accommodate ECVs. If you rent from an outside company, you will be able to use it when traveling to and from the parks and hotels. Buses can only accommodate 1 or 2 ECVs at a time so you may have to wait for more than once bus depending on how many Guests are waiting in ECVs and wheelchairs.

Here is some additional information on wheelchair and ECV rentals in the parks. Here is some information regarding attractions for Guests with Mobility Disabilities including those that allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs or ECVs, those that require Guests in ECVs to transfer to wheelchairs to board, and those that require Guests to be mobile to enjoy.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
