Grown sons with MD need separate beds. Their preferred room at Pop is listed to have a king bed and a double bed. Are both beds actual real beds?

Hi, Cathy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. At Disney's Pop Century Resort, you actually have 3 choices for rooms featuring one King Bed and one Double Bed (based on availability):

    1) Standard Room (views of the Resort Hotel)
    2) Standard Pool View (views of the Resort Pool)
    3) Preferred Room (views of Courtyard, Pool or Parking Area)

Preferred Rooms are located in closest proximity to the main building with the food court and bus transportation. Both beds in all 3 room types are actual real beds, not fold-out sleeper sofas or fold-down Murphy-style beds.

Typically, there are a very limited number of wheelchair accessible rooms with roll-in showers available, so I highly recommend booking your Resort as far in advance as possible. I would suggest that, instead of making your reservation online, you call Disney Reservations directly at407-939-7211

I hope this helps, Cathy! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any other questions as you plan your trip.
