Grown autistic son and I are staying at WDW, probably Coronado Springs military discount, while waiting for shuttle launch. Any ideas for inexpensive non-park meals & activities. We'll be there from 7/7- 7/13.

Hi, Rochelle! What a fun place to chill while waiting for a shuttle launch! I'm pretty cheap, so let's see what we can drum up for low cost ideas for you and your son! - Visit Animal Kingdom Lodge and look at the animals - Take a couple loops on the monorail - Chill in the Grand Floridian and soak up the music - Hunt for hidden Mickeys at Coronado Springs - Take a ride on Characters in Flight in Downtown Disney - If your son would like it, take a tour of Disney's Wilderness Lodge - Get ice cream at Beaches & Cream - Stroll along the Disney's BoardWalk - If your son would like it, visit T-Rex Cafe (you could spend several hours there) - Do a character meal - perhaps breakfast at Chef Mickey's
