5 in group: self, DH, DS 9, DD 14 & DF14. Thinking 2 rms at CB would suit all. Know son will love. 2 questions: how long is travel time to water parks and closest theme parks? Also, do many families w/ teens stay at CB?

Hi, Terri! First of all, great planning on your part getting two rooms at CBR.  For a family traveling with teens, two bathrooms and all the extra room will make you thank yourself for being so smart! Although we have never stayed at CBR, we had dinner there a couple of weeks ago at Shutters after a day at Typhoon Lagoon, and the main building with the food court was covered in teenagers. My 15 year-old son's head was on a swivel looking at girls by the pool as we waited for our table!

CBR is considered in the Epcot resort area but is also close to Disney's Hollywood Studios, Downtown Disney and Typhoon Lagoon. In addition, it's also considered an ESPN Wide World of Sports resort.  Therefore, there is a direct bus to the complex, and as a result, many sports teams playing at ESPN WWoS are housed at CBR. Your teens will feel like they are right in the middle of the action!

However, because it is a "happening" place, you might want to consider two things: (1) a request to be close to the main building (Old Port Royale); but (2) not to be on the ground floor.  CBR is a huge resort, and you will want to feel comfortable with the two girls going to the pool or Old Port Royale by themselves. Yet, you don't want to be so close that you hear all the teams coming in and out as they walk by your door...all room doors open to an exterior corridor.

I sure hope this helps you with your planning! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
