A group of 12 going to Disney, Oct. 2016. My in-laws are DVC and made the resort reservations. Does the DVC member need to make all the dinner and fast pass reservations? Can we have half our group eat at one location & the other half at another?

    Hi Jenny,

Part of the magic of a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation is the freedom and options to find exactly what suits you! I think you will really appreciate that as you travel with such a large group.

Absolutely anyone traveling to Walt Disney World Resort can schedule their own Advance Dining Reservations beginning 180-days prior to their arrival. All Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, including Disney Vacation Club Members and their Guests, are free to schedule their own FastPass+ Reservations beginning 60-days before check-in.

While your in-laws, as Disney Vacation Club Members, will need to reserve your Disney Vacation Club Villa, arrange for Disney's Magical Express Motor Coach transportation to and from Orlando International Airport if it is needed, and add the Disney Dining Plan to your Reservation if you chose, you can make all of your other plans through your own My Disney Experience Account.

With a group so large, I absolutely recommend that you link all 12 of your My Disney Experience Accounts together through the Family and Friends option, so that you can make plans for all or some Guests together at one time. That said, everyone is free to chose to stay together or venture off in smaller groups as they wish.

I hope that answered your question, Jenny! Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
