Going with a group to Disney and I'm the only FL resident so I bought a 3 day resident pass- when I redeem my ticket, I go to a guest relation window and exchange it for a park pass. Do they finger print me at the window, or when I enter with my ticket

    Hi Melanie,

I'm so happy you were able to take advantage of the special 3-day pass for Florida residents to join your friends at Walt Disney World. Love those resident deals!

When you arrive at your first theme park, you will need to check in at a ticket window or Guest Relations location to show your Florida ID and activate your pass. It should take just a few minutes. Then, when you enter the park for the first time, you will choose which finger to scan at the touch point as your verification. Be sure to use the same finger every time you enter so that the scan recognizes you.

You will be inside and on your way to the fun in seconds.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melanie. Please let us know if we can answer any planning questions for you and your group -- about FastPass+, advanced dining reservations, resorts and more. We're always here to help.

Enjoy your Walt Disney World vacation!
