Can you have Groceries delivered to camp wilderness

Hi Nancy! Fort Wilderness Resort is the place to camp when vacationing at Walt Disney World. It has beautiful sites situated among the pine trees and next to waterways. Each site allows guests to have water hookups, cable tv, picnic tables, and grills.

If you need to have groceries during your stay and you do not have a car to make a trip to a nearby grocery store don't worry as you have options. There is a Trading Post at Fort Wilderness that stocks basic food supplies such as bread, milk, fruits, drinks, and other staples you might need. They also have charcoal and basic camping needs.  If you need more then the basics I strongly recommend using gardengrocers.com as your grocery delivery service. You can find them on line and must order in advance to assure you of the delivery date you wish. During busy times it is best to order as soon as possible. You can choose the items you need on line and provide them of the information about where you will be staying. If you are in a campsite the groceries will be delivered to the front check-in where they will store it for you until they know you are at your site. When you are in a cabin they will actually deliver to the cabin and if you are not there will put the perishables in the refrigerator and freezer and other things on the counter. They will notify you that you have food delivered and will deliver to your site.

This is such a great service for those guests coming without a car!
