    Susan from WI Asked

Greetings! We will be staying on property in Orlando on our daughters 22 golden birthday. Is there a special place that is "gold" or "goldish" where we could have a fantastic golden birthday dinner?

    Welcome BACK, Susan!

It's great to see you again asking another great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love that your family is gathering at the Most Magical Place on Earth for such a special celebration! I definitely have some wonderful Disney Dining Location suggestions for you that cover a range of ideas, budgets and tastes:

~ First up is The Edison in Disney Springs. The theming of this location is an abandoned industrial-age power plant turned 1920's speakeasy and restaurant with a gorgeous golden staircase banister. You could even turn the theme into a Roaring 20's Golden Birthday if you'd like as Gatsby-like Live Entertainment at The Edison kicks off every night at 10:00 P.M. (Do note that the menu after 10 P.M. is limited, so make dinner reservations here or elsewhere earlier in the night.)

~ Staying at Disney Springs but shifting gears completely, how about some farm-to-table golden fried comfort food? Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' may be a relaxing Southern joint but the food is golden award worthy. I especially recommend the macaroni & cheese.

~ If you'd like to dine in a Disney Theme Park, part of Disney's Hollywood Studios is an homage to the golden age of Hollywood, and that vibe is most present at The Hollywood Brown Derby. The restaurant even has subtle golden derby hat wall sconces! And P.S., the main star dish is the famous cobb salad.

~ Or, an option after playing all day and dining in a theme park, you could celebrate with a drink in the jewel toned and gold accented Enchanted Rose lounge at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

~ How about a location with a golden sunset view, like Cítricos or Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera?

~ Or maybe a reservation with a gold+ fireworks view, like California Grill, Narcoossee's, La Hacienda de San Angel,  Spice Road Table, the patio of Rose & Crown, Tokyo Dining, and 'Ohana.

~ And lastly, and speaking of fireworks, there are a number of dessert and VIP fireworks viewing options, including a Ferrytale Desert & Fireworks Cruise where you can see the golden glow outline of Main Street U.S.A.

I do hope that these helped to plan your daughter's upcoming golden Disney Days, Susan, and We'll See You Real Soon!
