Greetings! I have purchased a vacation package that offers a free dining plan w/ tix & hotel. Am I able to upgrade and pay the difference for annual passes? And can i do so before we visit the parks in December?

    Hi there, Alison!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This is a great question and I'm really glad you wrote in with it.

With the Magic Your Way vacation package that has the Free Dining promotion currently, the Park tickets you will receive will have the same number of days as the number of nights you are staying in your Resort hotel plus one. I spoke to a Cast Member at Walt Disney World who said that you cannot bump those Park tickets up to Annual Passes prior to your arrival, but you can bump them up to, say a 9 or even 10-day ticket so you could pay for them prior to your trip. Then when you go to any ticket sales center to upgrade your tickets, you would just need to pay the difference between that 9 or 10-day ticket and an Annual Pass. Doing it this way will keep your Free Dining intact and you'll have a nice "down payment" so-to-speak on Annual Passes giving you a whole year of magic!

I sure hope this helps, Alison! Please don't hesitate to write back in if we can help with any additional questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
