Greetings to all of the dedicated members of the WDW Mom's Panel --your efforts are appreciated. Team Mickey is being replaced by MarketPlace. Will the wood lathe demonstrations of bat making continue despite the changes at DownTown Disney?

    Hello Martin,

Thank you for the kind words, hearing from Guests that we have helped spread some Disney Magic truly is a special for us. Disney is such an important part of our lives for so many reasons and we on the Disney Parks Moms Panel are here to help and happy to do so.

On that note, I myself have always been a fan of the custom designed Spaulding baseball bats at Team Disney but sadly those days have come to an end. Some brand new store fronts, called the Marketplace Co-Op, will soon premier six new shops to the Downtown Disney Marketplace and one of these, The Trophy Room, will cater to sports enthusiasts. This new sports boutique will carry high-end vintage inspired gear and sports memorabilia inspired by the history on one's favorite sport's team or teams. Maybe with a little bit of Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust these exciting new shops will be open upon your arrival to Walt Disney World so you and your family can explore and enjoy them.

Thank you for continuing to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel and if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask. Enjoy your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World and may it be magical and memorable.
