Hello, you all are GREAT! 1st wdw trip for our family & staying on site. Is it ok to tip mousekeeping and servers at the various restaurants with Disney dollars or is that not good form? Is it simply more acceptable to tip using cash or credit card?

Hi Stacey.    While I don't often come across Disney Dollars personally, I typically use those I do obtain for merchandise or dining expenses I may incur.

However, its interesting you ask given that one trip a few years back I happened to have quite a few of these and was dining at a Disney restaurant.   I asked the server whether he minded these as his form of gratuity.   He was very gracious in his response, indicating that any form of tip is welcomed and he would find a way to spend it.   I think the answer comes down to the Disney employee receiving the gift - if they happen to visit Disney during their time off, they will have plenty of opportunities to spend this.   If they don't, I am sure they would prefer their tip in form of cash to use as they see fit.   Hope this helps.
