You all are great! Will be @ WDW in fall arriving late the 1st night, so staying at Pop. Next day, switching to POFQ to stay for rest of trip. Can I use DME if staying at 2 different hotels? How do I move my luggage between hotels? Thanks so much!

    Hi Anne,

I am so happy you have found the Disney Parks Moms Panel to be helpful to you!  We all are passionate about planning Disney vacations.  From Aulani to runDisney vacations, we've got you covered!

Switching Disney Resorts is an easy process.  The morning you depart Disney's Pop Century Resort hotel, simply take your luggage to Bell Services (or call for pick-up) and let them know which Resort hotel you are transferring.  They will give you a receipt and let you know what time your luggage will arrive at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort hotel.  Then you are free to enjoy your day!  You may use the Disney transportation system to go to a theme park, water park, or Downtown Disney area.  Since there isn't a direct bus from Disney's Pop Century Resort hotel and Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort hotel, you will need to take a bus to one of the other destinations first before taking transportation to Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter.  Alternatively if you want to go directly to Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort hotel you can pay for a taxi service.

One thing to keep in mind is if you have purchased the Disney Dining Plan or wish to charge purchases with your MagicBand with your second Resort hotel reservation, those services will not be available until you check in to your new Resort hotel.  Your theme park tickets will be active but the other services do require a visit to the Resort hotel check in desk to activate them.

Have a Magical vacation!  Be sure to let us know if you have any further Disney vacation planning questions.  We are always happy to help!

    Blessings,
