    Tracy from MO Asked

We had some great vacations at Disney when my kids were younger, but I'm wondering if there are enough things to do for my teenagers. Any suggestions for specific things teenagers would enjoy?

    Hi Tracy,

Thanks for sending me your question!  As a mom of a teenager myself, I can promise you there’s still plenty of magic to be found at Walt Disney World for kids of all ages. Starting in the parks, here are some "must-dos" on my kids' lists:
    • Magic Kingdom Park: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
    • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Expedition Everest and Kilimanjaro Safari
    • Epcot: Mission: SPACE, Soarin’ and Test Track
As much fun as you’ll have in the parks, there’s even more that might appeal to your teens at the resort.  Between the arcade, snack options and fantastic pools, your kids can lounge around for hours on end.  Even better, you could make a whole day out of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach (or both).  Be sure to check out Typhoon Lagoon's totally tubular surf lessons as a possibility, too.

At Downtown Disney, you'll find Splitsville Luxury Lanes.  This is my new favorite spot.  It has a huge menu, fun atmosphere and bowling for the whole family.  There’s also Disney Quest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, a one-of-a-kind experience that has 5 floors packed full of interactive experiences and video games, done Disney-style.

And that’s just the tip of the vacation iceberg for teens…we didn’t even get to talk about food!  If you have questions about that or anything else as you make your vacation plans, I’d love to help!
