Hi great panel!! I need help/opinion If you had to choose HDR or Aloha for a dinner show which would you choose. going in sept. and wanted to try something different. going with husband and our 4yr son. thanks!

    Hi Erin:

In the Hoop-Dee-Doo vs. the Spirit of Aloha debate, different Moms Panel panelists have different opinions. And while the Spirit of Aloha is a great and a wonderful and entertaining family experience and not something you see everyday, for my family, the most fun dinner event is the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Hoop-Dee-Doo is one of Disney World's longest running dinner shows, and it's easy to understand why. The show is entertaining, the cast is talented, the atmosphere is festive, the jokes are plentiful (and corny), and the food is finger-licking tasty.

Hoop-Dee-Doo is a vaudeville-style dinner show with a country twist. Dinner is served family style and includes favorites like fried chicken, smoked bbq pork ribs, fresh corn bread, strawberry shortcake and the most delicious country-style baked beans I have ever tasted. The food and most drinks are all-you-can-consume, so you'll leave satisfied.

As you enjoy the food, the extraordinary Hoop-Dee-Doo cast puts on a show full of dancing, singing, and comedy. While theoretically there may be a cynical young adult or two out there who may be too cool for some of the corny humor, your two older children seem to be at the right age to really get a laugh from the jokes. Hoop-Dee-Doo is very interactive and the cast frequently takes the show from the stage and into the audience to sing songs and engage the guests. Towards the end of the performance, a handful of lucky audience members are asked to join the show for the grand finale.

Enjoy your vacation, whichever show you choose.
