Great panel -- checking it everyday for tips for upcoming trip!!! How long does it take to get from Pioneer Hall to the Campfire Program at Ft. Wilderness? Thought it would be a great way to spend or first half-day.

    Sandy,

If it's convenient for you to get to Pioneer Hall, this could be a perfect activity for the first evening.  We went one evening when we were staying at the Ft. Wilderness cabins.  My kids really enjoyed it.  My son will deny it to this day, but we have video proof that he had a great time singing "It's a Small World" with all of the other kids! ;-)

It is just a short bus ride (take the Orange Ft. Wilderness bus route) from the bus stops near Pioneer Hall to the Campfire Sing-A-Long area at Ft. Wilderness.  I'd say the ride was 3 or 4 minutes.  The buses come approximately every 15-20 minutes. So, the trip one-way could take as little as 3-4 minutes (if you have no wait) or as long as 24 minutes (if you just missed a prior bus).  On average, it should be about 10-12 minutes to get there .  If you aren't familiar with the Ft. Wilderness layout, be sure to ask the bus driver for the closest stop to the Campfire Sing-A-Long area.

Please be aware that you'll also have a short walk (under 5 minutes) from the bus stop to the area where they hold the Campfire program.

    Enjoy!
