Great for o/seas guests! 2 weeks July in Orlando, 1 in WDW resort, 1 nearby. If not staying at a WDW resort can we still park at the resorts to dine? Is there a charge? Also when staying at a WDW resort can we use other rest resorts swimming pools? Thx

    Hi Jessica,

If you are dining in a restaurant at a WDW owned Resort, you may certainly park there while dining without any parking fees.  You will have to go through a security gate at the entrance to the resort and the security guard will ask the reason why you will be there.  Just let them know that you will be dining there and if you have an advanced dining reservation then they will ask for your name to make sure you are on the list.  If you don't have an ADR then just let them know which restaurant you want to dine at.  You will then receive a complimentary parking pass for up to 3 hours which should give you enough time to eat and maybe tour the resort for a bit.

As far as using a pool at a WDW Resort other than the one you will be staying at, unfortunately you may not do this with one exception and that is the "Value" resorts.  When you are staying in a "Value" resort, you may "pool hop" to any of the other pools located at any of the other "Value" resorts.  This is the only exception to the rule when wanting to use a pool at another WDW Resort.  I hope you have a magical stay!

    Best wishes,
