Hi! And great forum. We'll be traveling to Disney in Jan. with two toddlers. I read that we won't have to worry about car seats unless we're planning to be off Disney grounds, is that right? Does that include getting to Sea World, too?

Hi Susie!  When taking Disney bus and boat transportation you will not be required to use a car seat. In fact you can't use them and all strollers must be folded and stowed on each with a few exceptions on the boats.  This includes the Magical Express busses from the airport. All car seats are stowed underneath for the trip to the resorts.

If you find you wish to use a taxi you can try calling for one that will be carrying a car seat in their trunk.  Often they only carry one so this might be more difficult. I suggest if you are trying to get off property and using taxis or other means of transportation you call ahead and check on their rules and car seat availability.  Florida law will require children in restraining safety boosters and seats in cars.
