    Christine from CA Asked

We are grandparents and would like to take our daughter, son-in-law and 13yr. & 15yr. old grandaughters to DisneyWorld. We were a little shocked at the price when we priced one of the villas. What would you suggest for this size group mid-price range

What a lucky bunch your daughter and her family are.  We've done multi-generational trips many times; I can tell you from experience that you're sure to have a magical trip!

The price for the villas is a bit hard to swallow.  Not to fear though, there are options Christine!  Have you considered staying at a moderate resort and getting connecting rooms?  I, personally, love the charming surroundings at Port Orleans Riverside.  In fact, our own family's four generation celebration took place there last September.  With two rooms, your family would have plenty of space to spread out.  Of the three options I'm offering, this one would be the most expensive.

You might also consider the family suites at the All Star Music Resort.  They sleep six, but my favorite amenity offered there is the two full bathrooms!  This would be an especially big bonus for a family traveling with two teenage girls.  This is the least expensive of the options I'm presenting.

I've also heard great things about the cabins at Fort Wilderness, though I've never stayed there personally.  They also sleep six, and include a full kitchen.  The cabins include one bedroom that houses a double bed (for your daughter and her husband perhaps?) and bunk beds (perfect for your granddaughters).  In the main living space there is a Murphy bed that would be ideal for you and your husband.

My personal preference would be to try the cabins at Fort Wilderness.  I've heard that they have the highest percentage of return visitors and people just seem to love staying there.  Maybe your family would love it too!

Hopefully one of these suggestions will work well for you!
