If I have my grandpa who lives in Florida has the same last name as me can he buy tickets for us even tho we don’t live in Florida? And get the Florida resident price

Hi Amber and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My love for Walt Disney World started when I lived out of state as a little girl and my grandparents lived in Orlando.  Visiting them always meant a trip to see Mickey Mouse!

Discounts for Florida residents can include room offers and discounted tickets, however, proper proof of Florida residency is required to purchase, pick-up and use the Florida resident discounted tickets for anyone age 18 and older.  If you are traveling with any children under 18, your grandpa can purchase tickets for them, but will still need to pick them up at Walt Disney World in person.  His discount can not be extended to the adults in your family.

    Have a magical day!
