I am a Grandmother, I would like to bring my 4 Grand children on December 28- Jan 1 2011. Where is the best place to stay for a 3 yr old? I also have a 14, 9, and 6 yr old.

Hey, Dorothy! What a sweet grandmother you are! The best place to stay for a three year old is going to be the most convenient -- especially since you'll most likely have a stroller for him/her and you'll have three others in tow. Therefore, I would suggest staying on the monorail loop -- at The Contemporary, The Polynesian or The Grand Floridian. You can easily move between the Magic Kingdom and your resort for breaks in the day for a nap, a swim in the resort pool or a relaxed meal.

In addition, the Wilderness Lodge and the Cabins and Campsites of Fort Wilderness are only a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom, too. All of these options have wonderful dining and recreation options as well as enjoy the closest proximity to where your three-year-old grandchild will want to visit the most. The resorts on the monorail loop as well as Wilderness Lodge are deluxe resorts and come with a bigger price tag than some other resorts. Fort Wilderness Cabins are considered moderate, and the campsites are in their own category since you bring your own sleeping accommodations!

If you think you'll spend more time at Epcot and/or Hollywood Studios, I would recommend the Beach Club, and if Animal Kingdom is your park of preference, I suggest Animal Kingdom Lodge.

If you need more specific information about the resorts and need for me to narrow it down even further for you, please come back and visit me here. I'd be happy to help! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
