A grandma bought FL resident tickets for herself and her grandchild. Everyone including non FL residents, except Grandma, will go to a park on Sunday (including the grandson). Grandma arrives Monday. Will the grandchild have trouble getting in on Sunday?

    Hi Kelly,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Grandma is a jewel. She is definitely one of the contenders for Grandma of the year!

All adult Florida residents must show proof of residency when picking up theme park tickets. I have never witnessed a child being asked to show identification. The Special Tickets, Passes and Offers for Florida Residents provides additional details. Once grandma picks up the tickets, you can link that ticket to the grandchild's MagicBand (if you will be using MagicBands) and she should be able to enter the park. One of our Florida resident Moms Panelists, Emille, recently provided some information about Florida resident tickets

Of course, procedures can change, so if any of you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, double-check with the Lobby Concierge when you arrive! In the meantime, I do hope you have made Fast Pass+ selections and dining reservations for character meals. Fast Pass+ saves us hours of time in line for rides. And we always do dining reservations for character meals because restaurants can get booked quickly.

Kelly, I hope you have a family vacation filled with unexpected pixie dust!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
