We are Grandgathering. We want to eat together in the reasturants, can we book 1 reservation or do we need to book seperate for each family? We are on the dining plan. Also are all the reasturants able to give tables for 15 people? Thanks in Advance

    Hi Kimberly,

When you call to make your Advance Dining Reservations, you make it for the number of people who will be dining with you at that particular time. So if everyone is eating with you for dinner, you will make the reservation for 15. If only 10 are dining, then you make the reservation for 10. You only need one reservation to cover everyone.

There are no restaurants that can accomodate 15 at one table because I have tried. However, they will put tables together next to each other if they are available. I had this happen when my family and friends were in Disney to see my daughter, Nicole, dance at Disney World. I just kept making the reservations to accomodate the number of people who were going to eat with us on any given night. We ate at Chef Mickey's and Whispering Canyon Cafe with no problems. We had a kids table and a grown up table just like the holidays!

When you call Disney dining, there is an option for Grand Gatherings which you should use. Also, talk to your family about how you want to pay the bill. When we go down with this many people, I usually pay the bill and then they pay me back once we arrive home. However, if you need separate checks or you have the dining plan, tell your server and they will accomodate you.

    Have a great trip!
