My granddaughter has "low vision". She does not see well and glasses do not help - is there any assistance for her when seeing shows? Unless very close cannot see characters, etc. at the shows or parades. Is this handicap addressed at Disney Wo

They most certainly have thought of and accommodated for your granddaughter's handicap, Patricia.  What you'll need to do is visit Guest Services upon entering the theme park (any of the four).  Tell the Cast Member that you speak with about your granddaughter's poor vision.  He or she may ask for details and it's best if you are prepared to answer any questions that come up.  More than likely, your daughter will be provided with a Guest Assistance Card that will allow her access to special seating sections in shows, attractions and at parades.  Your party (a total of six guests) will need to show that pass at the attraction.  I can tell you from experience, though, that many of the sections reserved for those with poor vision do offer very close seating and--often times--that seating is so close that you miss out on much of the show.  For example, at Nemo - The Musical in Animal Kingdom, the seating section is front row and you won't be able to see over the stage to get a good view of the production.  It's just something to keep in mind.  I hope that helps!
